Getting Started

From your dashboard, click "New Gallery", give it a name, and upload your photos. Once uploaded, you can share the gallery with a client by entering their email.

No. The free plan gives you 2 galleries and 5 GB of storage — no credit card required. Upgrade anytime when you need more.

Managing Galleries

There is no per-gallery photo limit. Storage is pooled across your account based on your plan (5 GB free, up to 1,250 GB on Studio).

Yes. Download permissions are set per gallery. You can allow full-resolution downloads, disable them entirely, or restrict to lower-resolution copies.

Yes. Upload a watermark logo in your account settings, then toggle watermarking on or off per gallery.

Client Access

Clients receive an email with a link to their gallery. They can view it in a browser or through the free ApertureBook mobile app.

No. Clients access galleries via a secure link. They can optionally install the mobile app for a better browsing and download experience.

Yes. Clients can mark favorites from both the web and the mobile app, making it easy for them to flag the photos they love most.

Billing & Plans

Go to Settings → Subscription. You can switch plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.

Cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. No fees, no runaround.

Your galleries remain accessible until the end of your billing period. After that, access may be limited if your storage exceeds the free tier. We'll always notify you before any changes.

Mobile App

The mobile app is designed for clients. It gives them a native experience to browse their gallery, favorite photos, and download — without needing a browser.

The ApertureBook client app is available on the App Store for iOS. Android support is coming soon.

Clients need a connection to load galleries and photos. Downloaded photos are saved to their device camera roll and are always available offline after download.
