Galleries & delivery

Galleries that look like your studio.

Upload once and every client gets their own on-brand gallery, live in minutes.

Per-client galleries

Each client signs in with their email and shoot date to reach only the galleries meant for them.

Access controls

Set a download-expiry date and auto-delete, so galleries do not linger forever.

Gallery covers

Choose the cover image your clients see first when they open a gallery.

Full-resolution downloads

Clients download a single photo or the whole gallery at full resolution.

Built-in watermark protection

Previews carry your watermark; downloaded originals are clean.

Fast-loading images

Galleries open quickly on any connection, with crisp previews and HEIC support.

The client app

A real native app your clients download.

ApertureBook puts your photos in a native iPhone and Android app, free for your clients.

Native iOS & Android

A genuine native app in the App Store and Google Play, not a mobile web page.

Save to camera roll

Save full-resolution photos into a gallery-named album on the phone.

Favorites that sync

Clients heart their picks and those favorites come straight back to you.

Push notifications

Clients get a push the moment you share a gallery with them. No chasing emails.

Open from a link or QR

A one-tap sign-in link or QR code opens the app straight to their gallery.

Your brand inside

Your galleries appear under your name, logo, and cover.

Client messaging

Talk to clients without leaving the gallery.

One conversation per client, in your studio inbox and in their app, sitting right next to the work it is about. Included on paid plans.

One thread per client

Every conversation stays in one place, beside that client’s galleries, invoices, and contracts.

You on the web, them in the app

Reply from your studio inbox; your client replies from the ApertureBook app on their phone.

Push notifications

Your client gets a push the moment you send, so it does not sit unread like an email.

Email catches the rest

If they miss the push, an email arrives with a button that opens the conversation.

Links and light formatting

Bold, italics, lists, and links, so dates and details stay readable.

See when it was read

Know your client has actually seen the message instead of guessing.

Contracts

Get it signed before the shoot.

Send a contract for signature, track who has signed, and keep the signed copy filed with the client it belongs to.

Send for e-signature

Email a contract to your client and collect a legally recorded signature online.

Reusable templates

Save the agreements you send often and start from them next time.

Track every signer

See who has viewed, signed, or declined at a glance.

Signed PDF on file

Everyone receives the signed PDF, and the copy stays with the client record.

Forms

Get the session details without the email chain.

Send a questionnaire once and have the timeline, the addresses, and the family list come back written down.

Six ready-made forms

Wedding day, portrait prep, newborn, senior, feedback, and new inquiry — send one as it is or make it yours.

Their details, pre-filled

Name, email, phone, and shoot date arrive already filled in, so your client confirms instead of retyping.

Nothing to sign in to

Clients answer in the ApertureBook app or from a link in any browser. No account, no password.

Saved as they go

A form left half-finished picks up exactly where they stopped, on any device.

Reminders send themselves

Up to two nudges go out on their own, and stop the moment the form comes back.

Answers where the work is

You get an email on submit, the answers sit with the client’s gallery and invoice, and they export to PDF for the day.

Downloads

Downloads that just work, everywhere.

The part that breaks on a shared link is the part we made effortless.

Whole-gallery download

Grab every photo at once, on desktop or phone.

Native album on mobile

On the app, a full-gallery save lands as an album in the camera roll.

Whole gallery on the web

On the web, download the entire gallery in one go, right from the browser.

Full resolution

Downloads are the real files, not shrunken previews.

Invoicing

Deliver and do the paperwork in one place.

Send a branded invoice and keep every payment on record, right next to the gallery.

Branded invoices

Draft-to-paid invoices carrying your logo and studio details.

Send & track

Send invoices to clients and track draft, sent, and paid status at a glance.

Payments on record

Log the cash and checks you take so your totals always stay honest.

Discounts & tax

Add discounts, tax, and line-item adjustments to any invoice.

Reports

Know exactly what you earned.

Every report is built from the payments you actually recorded, so your totals reflect real money in, not just what you billed.

Your real take-home

Actual earnings across every invoice, from the payments you have collected, not just gross billed.

Outstanding & overdue

See who still owes you and how long each invoice has gone unpaid.

Income by client or gallery

See which clients and shoots actually brought in the most over any period.

Export to CSV

Download any report anytime to use in your own spreadsheets.

Common questions

How do clients get into their gallery?

They sign in with their email address and the shoot date — no account to create and no password to remember. That pair only opens the galleries meant for them, on the web or in the ApertureBook app.

Can I stop clients downloading photos?

Yes, per gallery. You can turn downloads off entirely, or set a download-expiry date after which the gallery stays viewable but downloads close.

Do galleries expire, and do I lose the record when they do?

You can set a gallery to auto-expire. When it does, the photos are deleted to free your storage but the gallery record itself is kept, so the client, the linked invoice, and the contract all stay intact in your account.

How does watermarking work?

Switch watermarking on per gallery and your logo is applied to the previews clients browse. Anything they download at full resolution comes through clean, without the watermark.

How do I know which photos my client liked?

Clients heart photos as they browse and those favorites sync straight back to your dashboard, so you can see the shortlist without asking for screenshots.

Can I invoice clients from ApertureBook?

Yes. Invoices, contracts, and galleries all live against the same client, so a session is one record end to end. Invoicing is on every plan, including the free one.

Can I send clients a questionnaire before the shoot?

Yes, on every plan. Send a form for session details — a wedding day timeline, portrait prep, newborn notes — starting from one of six ready-made forms or one you build yourself. Clients answer in the app or from a link with no login, their contact details arrive pre-filled, and up to two reminders send themselves until the form comes back.

Can I message clients from inside ApertureBook?

Yes, on any paid plan. Each client has one conversation you can open from their gallery, invoice, or contract, and they reply from the ApertureBook app on their phone.
